In 2006, a 30-church association in the Dominican Republic asked Baptist Mid-Missions to help establish a Bible college as it was urgently needed. Jeremie and Amy Roy have been serving in the Dominican Republic since 2016 with BMM, and sent by their church, Inter-City Baptist Church, Allen Park, MI. The college, named International Baptist Seminary (in Spanish), serves about 60 churches, has a student body that has varied between 30-50 students, and has 13 qualified teachers, 10 of which are Dominicans. The Roys are currently seeking to establish new gospel partnerships to help train gospel workers through this Bible college ministry.
